Everyone suddenly loves Sortilege. Ridiculous what a reissue can do.

I don't see how that's ridiculous. Greater access leads to more people hearing the music, which leads to more fans. How is that at all shocking?

I don't own any Sortilège-reissues though.

All i know is that i posted Metamorphose in ther NP thread a few months back and ever since then people have been posting their stuff at least once every few days or so. I sure in the hell dont remember anyone here talking about them before.

I've only listened twice to the 2 CDs so far, but this is really an impressive performance, especially bearing in mind that this line-up hadn't played together for about 30 years (if I'm not mistaken). Great vocals by John Arch and since "The Spectre Within" is still my favourite Fates Warning album, I'm very happy that the second CD (as well as the DVD) also features my two overall favourite Fates Warning songs, namely "The Apparition" and, of course, "Epitaph".

And the cover artwork is one of the best ever. I like the revamped, more detailed version even better than the original.

Finally pulled the trigger on Goblin - The Awakening 6 cd set.

Contains Profoundo Rosso, Roller, Susperia, Tenebre, Zombi, and that long ass titled prog rock album they did.

Only just bought it and the anticipation of it arriving is killing me.

I always flip-flop my decision on which of the two is better. Recently i've been leaning more towards Countdown. They've always been pretty even in my book.
