To be honest, I haven't heard much from Place Of Skulls. But Late... is definitely more hard rock than doom (except for the demo versions of the Pentagram songs). It's well worth hearing, there are some really great songs on it.

Speaking of Place of Skulls. I've got on album: With Vision and it is pretty forgettable. Way to much in the stoner vein for my tastes.

Listened to a bit of the MA cd, it is heavy as fuck. I love it. And I listened to some of the Rotting Christ, I had heard some of their stuff before so I bought this, but this is pretty doomy sounding to my ears. I thought they were more straight up black/death.
