I always wondered. What's the point of these threads? Does anyone actually pay attention to anyone elses' lists other than their own?

I do!

I like seeing what other people are using and investing in. I don't spend a lot of time in other studios and I find it helpful to see if 30 other dudes have the same mic/piece of gear I've been thinking about picking up and debating over. Especially if they tend to work in a similar genre. :)
 
Here's what I've got. I recently added the SM7. I'm looking to add a pair of 184s in the future and a higher end LDC, but I need to finish my room before I really start spending money on mics that will show off it's bare unfinished concrete glory. ;)
