I love that so much. I used to go to the Monterey Bay Aquarium all the time as a kid. I was a member. Seeing that big kelp tank again was awesome.

I've been there. Mount Storm King?

Nope, Pyramid Peak. However, in the last pic, the mountain to the left in the foreground right in front of me is Storm King. We hiked that one about 2 months ago. Also epic, but I think Pyramid has better views. Storm King is a much more technical, difficult hike with lots of ropes and stuff, but that huge washout on Pyramid's trail is almost as sketchy as all the Storm King shit combined.

Both are awesome as fuck.

Oh, well I definitely didn't climb anything with ropes. I guess I just remember hearing the name when I was in Olympic Park.

Yeah, the road the goes along Lake Crescent (Highway 101) goes right through the Storm King park area and there are lots of signs pointing it out so it's a name that gets remembered easily.

Also, all the ropes are past a point in the trail where there's a sign advising you not to continue, so I think a lot of people might call it good and turn around there. I would have if I didn't have a slew of other people egging me on, though I'm glad they did in the end.
