It really is, and you can put it anywhere. It only has two legs, so the other two legs to hold it up are your feet. You can put it on a steep trail facing downhill and feel like you're sitting on level ground. There's a learning curve with getting used to getting in and out of it, but once you get that down it's smooth sailing. It weighs under a pound and packs down to the size of a burrito. Perfect camping chair.
