off topic: what the fuck in in Irn Bru anyway? Last time I had that stuff I couldn't figure what it was.

Glasgow grew as a city because it had many ship-building docks. Working with all the steel was incredibly warm, so in typical scottish fashion all the workers were given free beer to stay cool, but when folks eventually discovered they werent doing jack all work they invented iron brew to keep them cool, but in the 1930s someone filed a law suit saying it wasnt made from iron nor brewed so they renamed it Irn Bru. It's made from "mixed fruits" and they used to say it was made from girders...its a scottish institution, glaswegian particuarly.
