I don't think puking makes the puking girls happy... Bulemia (Nevrosa) IS a psychological disorder which is usually caused by depression or neurotic preoccupation with being physically attractive. Maybe it is gross but these girls are the product of society. Personally I think it's really sad

One of my favorite shows is Intervention, and out of all the heroin addicts, compulsive shoppers and gamblers, and everyone in between... the episode with the Bulemic woman made saddened me the most. She actually hid multiple 1 gallon plastic bags full of her own vomit in the back of her closet so her husband wouldn't know what she was up to. When they'd accumulate and he wasn't around, she'd hoof them all to the dumpster.

It is I completely agree, I was just trying to make it clear that I am not criticisizing people you know? I didn't mean to make it sound as though I think it makes them happy, I know it doesn't. A few of my friends have struggled with this so I know. Sorry for the misunderstanding. It is annoying however that people often don't believe it is an actual psychological disorder.

I thought the same thing. Indeed my reaction was the same, minus the sarcasm. It's been a while since i browsed the DSM IV, but as far as I can tell talking spiders does not come under schizophrenia, it comes under Iwannasoundfuckeduptobeoriginalism.
