! Well, in first grade we got to chose instruments, whether we wanted to be in the band, the orchestra or the chorus. My dad was a bluesman on guitar, so I chose the violin because I decided I could just strum it like a guitar. He helped me learn so I started playing when I was 6. So since I was 6, but "officially"...7 since that's when we started in school and with teachers etc. Even though I learned more on my own, as everyone else did lol, since our music teachers sucked.
