Went exploring up in the Marin Headlands just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. This place called Hawk Hill has lots of old World War II batteries, which are pretty neat.

Apparently that thing was going to hold a cannon.

OMG! Headlands rules!!! I went there in 6th grade and it was gorgeous!!
