Power Cable to Orange Rocker 30?

I just traded my Genz Benz El Diablo 100 for an Orange Rocker 30, unfortunately it didn't come with a power cable.


The power input says this
180V.A.(1.56A@ 115V)

I was told by an "electrical engineer"(the dad of one of the guitar players in the band i'm recording) that a 16AWG cable that fits should work. Even ones made for computers. I'm skeptical.

What exactly should i be looking for in a power cable for this amp?

I always use random ones, like the ones made for computers and they always work without any problem

If it has an IEC (C14) Jack then use a standard IEC (C13) cable.

Amp, keyboard, rack gear and computer power cables are standard and interchangeable
