me and my friends are forming a power metal band, i was wondering if i could get an opinion of some lyrics i wrote up:

fight of the Titans


In the land of the forsaken
There were those who were crushed and those who crush back
Of those who stood up to fight
Few survived


We sing for the forgotten
We sing for some hope
We sing on and on again for the lost


Few would oppose the mighty dark titans
For they were vile and sneaky
Yet there was hope
Even the the land of the forsaken
That a mighty warrior should rise

On this day no one could say who struck harder
They fear to know the truth
The knowledge of defeat would scare them
The knowledge of victory would overjoy them
Overjoy to a terrible loss

We sing for the forgotten

The swords and axes of those who stood high
Are now laying low in the warfield
The mighty powers of the titans
Lay forgotten in a forsaken realm

Its all good. the hardest thing about powermetal vocals is getting a catchy melody under the lyrics. If you've done that then Im sure it will rock.
