VAM® Acoustics Inc. Sponsors “JAM with VAM® Festival” at The Crofoot

PONTIAC, MI…On Saturday May 24th, The Crowfoot in Pontiac will rock as it hosts the first ever “JAM with VAM® Festival.” Doors will open at 6
M and the audience will be treated to exciting performances by Detroit’s own “Breathing Underwater” and L.A. rock trio “Magnetico” featuring legendary guitarist and vocalist Rafael Moreira. Moriera has performed with many well known artists such as Pink, Paul Stanley of KISS, Christina Aguilera, and many more. Both bands are celebrating the releases of their newest CD’s at the event. A portion of the Festival proceeds will benefit Gleaners Food Bank of Southwest Michigan.
The Festival is the brainchild of VAM® Acoustics Inc. (Vocal Acoustic Monitor) inventor Byron Cancelmo. The VAM® is a simple yet extremely effective device that allows vocalists to hear what they really sound like either live or in the studio without the use of complicated equipment. It has been featured in many articles including Real Detroit, Oakland Press, MSNBC, Premier Guitar and many more. Cancelmo, a music enthusiast and performer himself, created the device and is now marketing it to the public. He developed the idea for the “JAM with VAM® Festival” as a way to promote his new product and showcase up and coming artists. “I love music and live performance,” said Cancelmo. “This festival is a way to bring many different styles of music together and to educate the music loving public about the VAM® so one day they too can take the stage with confidence.” The VAM® has been endorsed by many well known vocalists including the featured artists at this year’s festival, some of which will perform with the vocal tool. Those who attend the festival will have the opportunity to try out the VAM® for themselves at kiosks set up at the venue.
The Festival will also feature surprised guests including Illinois heavy metal guitarist Dave Shankle. Shankle, who is know for his theatrical instrumental performances was formerly with “ManOwar” and now tours with “DSG.”
A special after party for VIP guests is being sponsored by Jaguar Vodka. The party will be held in The Crofoot’s “Pike Room” and will showcase L.A. based performer “Phoenix Benjamin.” Many other artists are also expected to take the stage.
