power tab question ^^

oh ok, i found it... so i'm gonna chance my question to:

so anybody knows a program to change mp3 to midi dfles?

I don't even think it's possible, the two formats are about as different as sound formats get.

-mp3 contains (compressed) sound frequency information
-midi contains information about different instruments and things like note length etc, essentially digitised sheet music (which makes it easy for tabbing and similar programs to use)

The best you could do is use a program to work out the notes from a mp3 (perhaps one of the programs that people currently use to create tabs?), then use approximate instruments. It definately wouldn't sound the same.

It's not possible, that's the reason people have to tab out songs by ear (also the main reason most tabs out there suck.)

The best thing for you to do is attempt to tab out the song yourself. Not only are you learning it, but you're learning the structure of the song and getting a step closer to writing songs of your own.
