Yeah, I know I have started alot of equipment threads lately.. :)

I have only tried the Powerball, witch I thought was a little bit midrangey, and not the Fireball. I have heard that the Fireball is more scooped? Would the Fireball comply the 5150 better because of that or? I now mean both in a band setting and recording wise! The Fireball is also much cheaper and just as good Ive heard!

Wish I just could test them out to compare, but I dont know anybody who owns a Fireball..

Thanks!

ah! ok! The midrangy thing was just my first impression, didnt tweak it much..
So, you are saying go for the Powerball? Even thought its 500$ more expensive?

No, I think DSS3 is saying go for the FireBall. I loved my PowerBall when I had it, it was a cool amp to have for really tight single string/single note rhythms. My friend has a FireBall now that I've messed with on a few occasions and I like it more. After playing with the FireBall a few times I'd have to agree with DSS3. My friend that owns the FB plays really technical stuff like Decapitated, etc. where the guitars have to be tight. The FireBall definitely delivers on that front.

Haven't mixed it with my JSX yet, but we are getting something together to get his band over here to record a few tracks, which will have my JSX layered with his FireBall.

Well, the Fireball seams really nice! Its not for me, but for the other guitarsist in my band. Im playing a 5150 so.. I will definitly try the FB, but here in Oslo it seams they only have the Ritchie Blackmore in stock! (Witch is very nice by the way!)
