Watch out for an interview and album review in the May issue!

"Power Quest are a band who will get vast amounts of coverage elsewhere in Powerplay, but will they appeal to you lot....the pink and fluffy brigade?
Well, if you like Millenium, Red Dawn and Royal Hunt ("paradox" era) then they most definetly will! I will have to mark this album down as a total suprise. To be truthful, I was fearing the worst. I have always found power metal to be a bit of a hit and miss affair as far as I am concerned. However, this album is the best I have heard by a band of this style since Royal Hunt's "Paradox" masterpiece re-wrote the book a few years back. Songs like "Edge of time" "Temple of Fire" and "For Evermore" are classic slices of keyboard driven hard rock, some of the best I have heard from a UK band for many a year. It's out now through Now and Then records and you would be wise in grabbing yourself a copy and pronto!"
