PPUSA 5.0 Special on Seismic Radio tonight

Hey all , I will be playing a myriad of tunes tonight. I will be mostly playing bands that are going to be playing at Prog Power USA. I usually do a PPUSA special every year so I thought I would continue the tradition

Brainstorm, Kamelot, Tad Morose, Dreascape, PoS, Adagio, Into Eternity, Edguy, Wuthering Heights and even, yes you heard it hear first people, SAVATAGE!!!! Dont fall off your chair or spit out your drink, its true LOL

But as my show is off the cusp I will also be throwing in some other music and bands, that I have requests for. So I hope some heads show up, we had an awesome chat last week and alot of people were in #seismic

FYI, this is a cross post, not spamming but I thought if some people were not familiar with some of teh bands at PPUSA they would like to tune in and check out the show. I'm gonna listen to the stream as soon as I can reboot my system cause of the stupid update to RealPlayer. I tried that plugin for Winamp you had on your site but it wouldn't play the stream. Sorry I couldn't drop by last night, I wanted to but had some stuff to do.

Thats friggen wierd dude. I just copied link location right now and this is what I get http://www.powershred.net/ProgPowerZone10.ram and its streaming fine.

That is the correct link. I am wondering what the hell is going on? Thats the directory on my harddrive, weird.

I'll fudge with it and see whats the prob, thanks.

That is an easy one to fix.

Go to Options/ Preferences/ Pugins and double click on the Tara.exe plugin or hit the configure bar and under configuration parameters make sure that process audio through winamp in checked. Or if it is checked and is not working, uncheck it and it should do the trick.

John: http://www.powershred.net/ProgPowerZone10.rm seems to work

Bear: the .ram files include the address to the actual RealMedia .rm file, you probably had that pointing to the file on your HD which is why the .ram worked fine for you but not anyone else

Yeah copy and paste into the URL Drop down seems to stream it fine. I need to fix the Link on my Seismic page. RAWK!!!

I am listen to it at work right now, the sound is fair not to bad, not to great, still cool.

Easy to figure the crap out Open notepad or whatever text editor, make a file with ONLY the text http://www.powershred.net/ProgPowerZone10.rm on it, save that file as http://www.powershred.net/ProgPowerZone10.ram and upload the .ram file on the server, that's all you need dude and it'll be streaming perfectly fine without the need to download. Should work.
