Yeah my friend and I watched Prong to avoid that screamo band. Caught a nice little greatest hits by Fear Factory right before Primal Fear went on, too. PF was awesome of course.
It's too bad PF's set ended exactly when FF's ended. Even though they played a few encore songs, most of the FF crowd had cleared out by the time they started the encore. I noticed a few stragglers poke their heads in, but not as many as they could have gotten.
It's a damn shame PF can't get enough of a crowd to fill the room FF was playing in, and another damn shame FF can't fill the larger room upstairs. Oh well. I do love seeing awesome bands in such intimate venues. As long as they think it's worth coming back, I'll gladly keep seeing my favorite bands in crappy little bars.
