This album is not really beating me senseless over the head like it's doing with some of you others yet. "A Journey's End" still reigns fucking supreme
Thanks. As I said, they aren't weak tracks, they just don't do it for me the way the other tracks do. However, that seems like something that could change with time. I think with all great discs, your favorite and least favorite tracks tend to change. Also, being that they're at the end of the CD, it may just be that I've heard them less than the other songs, and they haven't had the same number of opportunities to sink their hooks into me.Demonspell said:Great review of a superb album, the only thing I disagree with is the assessment of the last two tracks...I explained why I love Cities in the earlier Primordial thread and while Tragedy's Birth does have to follow the album's masterpiece (being praised by a a band renowned for epic songwriting like Moonsorrow is a huge compliment), it still kills, especially the instrumental break.

Especially those two lines. So powerful. It's certainly going to be a contender for album of the year. I wonder how many RC Top 10 lists it will make.JayKeeley said:Oh god, that bread should be so dear
And human flesh so cheap
*That entire passage just rips my heart out the way he sings it.

Shipping worldwide is 4Euro (which is cheap considering global shipping charges these days).
