Pro Tools 7.4 Midi

I can't access the midi editor window in pro tools m-powered 7.4. There's supposed to be a separate window for editing like there's in PT8, right? Or does digidesign suck more that I thought it did? Double-clicking with the grabber tool doesn't help. I also read up somewhere about selecting the region and pressing the 'E' key, and that doesn't help either.

Stupid question, I know. I've used Sonar all my life for midi purposes because I was used to it. Thought about shifting here for flexibility.

Wait a minute, am I in the wrong thread? Is this supposed to be in the equipments thread? Please excuse my ignorance.

As far as I know, 7.4 does not have a separate midi editor window, it's all done in the track lane. Very annoying. The first I saw of a pop out window for midi was in number 8.

Midi editor was added in version 8.

Thanks for the reply guys. Looks like I'm gonna stick to Sonar for most of my midi purposes.
