PRO TOOLS 9 DIFFERENCE on WINDOWS and mac

i just wanted to ask you if there's any difference in pro tools when you run it through a MAC or a WINDOWS pc?
is there any huge difference in the settings and stuff like that?
or the program works exactly the same?

There is a difference in terms of latency....often on windows the latency is lower (with profire 2626 it can go at 64 while on osx only at 128)

I hate changing in between windows and mac systems cause i get crazy with the different key settings...
