I usually just put Trim in the first insert point to make up for that. It's kinda stupid to spend one of the (limited) inserts on that, especially since the PT mixer workflow otherwise resembles working on an analog desk quite a bit.

yeah, thats what I also do if someone else recorded the project. If I recorded it myself, I usually just record it in on proper levels. Or atleast try to.

Drag n Drop Insert/Send groups: Copy Inserts/Sends A-E or F-J from one channel to another.

Missed the "group" part of his request. Copy all 5 sends at once. Alt Click on the words "Sends A-F" will hide that from the mixer currently.

Seriously the only thing that PT really lacks is this. If you're not working with outboard gear, or if you print tracks running through outboard stuff, it would be great to have this option.
I don't care about ADC in LE, I know I have to buy the HD "option".. they have the right to sell you different setups (HD/LE) if they want to be rich and famous.
