Ok...my nephew who is into Rap just signed a deal with Def Jam, anyway they have some Pro Tools they want me to mix....however i don't use pro tools but i will get it if i have to. my question is does anyone use PTMP and if so how is importing files from regular pro tool Le?

I have PTMP, importing a session from LE works normally. But I don't use it too much because I prefer Cubase over it, if only there was money for HD

can you just have them export the WAV files so you can mix and work in Cubase? (Or whatever you use)

That is what I would do, especially if you are not comfortable in Pro Tools

get m powered and the profire lightbridge, it will open hd files as well as le...... good luck getting the label to break the files down to ind wav files.. i have only got sessions, some crammed with over 200 tracks in le format on 32 tracks.....
