Pro-Tools MP9 sale.

Discovered Pro-tools MP9 is on sale here. Only 99 euro. I still got MP8 on here, dont have to money to switch to PT10. Only benefit i will have with MP9 will be the automatic delay compensation i think. Is it worth spending 99 euro for that?

Don't think so. It's still an M-Powered version, meant to work only with M-Audio hardware. Unless they made an update to make it work with 3rd party hardware. Bought it anyway, sorta have the feeling the sale will end in May.

Bon, so i got PTMP9 now and did a small test, dunno if there is a hearable diffirence, it seems so. Both mixes are entirely the same, one done in MP8, the other in MP9 with the delay compensation on.

hey guys, i'm kinda new to the recording stuff and I want to get started on it. I'm thinking about getting a m-audio fast track that comes with pro tools mp9. Can anyone tell me if this software is any good and if it comes with any vst's I can use to record some metal tracks? Cheers

Well Pro Tools can't use VST's without a wrapper, so no. But it comes with plenty of RTAS plugins that you can use to record anything...
