Hallways of Always
I've got a marshall head I want to run straight into a soundboard, but I'm worried about the load not being there if I don't hook up a cab. I'd be using the line-out feature on the back of this (yes, I know it aint the best amp) AVT150H. I don't want to have to bring my stack, so is there a way (without buying stuff...) to do this safely?

avt150.....

DISCLAIMER:- DO NOT TAKE MY WORD FOR THIS

on the back there is a head phone conector that kills the power amp, in my experiance if you put say a "SMALL TO BIG" adapter in it (that way you dont get buzzy headphones all the time)

plugg into the emulated out and you're away! alternativly plugg into the send and try some other cab emulations either impulses or pluggin etc..

hope that helps

BUT CHECK IT OUT WITH SOMEONE THAT ACTUALLY KNOWS ABOUT AMPS... CALL MARSHALL OR SOMETHING

hmmm that does make sense and was along the lines of what i was thinking... that line out (or headphone out, why not both  ) would knock out the signal to the speakers and so not require 8 ohms on that line.
