Problem - linking to a swf file

Well, I made a button on a html page that links to a swf file. (on mouse down-open browser window). When I preview it works fine but when I try it on the net it doesn´t work it oppens my swf file but it stay´s blank (white) and the browser give me the message that the file can´t be downloaded???
