Problem with midi yoke/ edrum monitor

So i use midi yoke/ edrum monitor to trigger addictive drums via my yamaha dtxplorer and everything is great, absolutely no latency, however once a note is played it holds the note for the whole track which makes it difficult FOR ME to edit the drums. does anyone know of a solution to this problem. On a side note malt liquor 40s FTW

So it does not trigger note off events?
i guess there should be an option in whatever daw you use to trim all notes to a given length...

also TabIt does this too when you import the midi into PT... weird stuff...

but yeah, I know that i PT you can make all the notes the same length by highlighting them all and using the multi-tool and drag-shortening it to desired length
