Problem with my 5150 II blowing fuses

Hey guys,

Not long ago, i got a used 5150 II for £399

Its been fine, until i began taking it to band practice and cranking it, after sometimes minutes, if that, itll blow the 5A fuse,

i also notice, I THINK its acctually alot quieter than what it should be when cranked, it was on about 6, post, And its was matching a 100w solid state at about 8 on volume :/ I expected it to be blasting loud

Anyway, any helps appeciated

It's one or more power amp tube(valve) that's broken. Change the tubes (valves) and it'll be fine again.

You sure? i thought it sounded great at lower volumes, i was expecting if a valve was busted itd sound crap

if you think thisll cure it, i was going to change the valves anyway, so its all good

I had the same problem with my Dual Rect some weeks ago... I ended up replacing 1 tube... right after blowing 8 fuses!
