Hey guys, was hoping you might be able to help me with an issue I'm having.
Well, I just got a copy of BFD (the drum sample/sampler bundle). I followed the instructions on the manual for the installation, specifying directories for the core data, and the various plugin formats (VSTi, DXi etc.).
Lo and behold... I open it up in Cubase. 'error, cannot find data directory'. Alright, so I specify the data directory AGAIN in the box that comes up. 'error: cannot find kit 'blah blah.kit'. Hit ok... it leads you to the GUI of the program. Click on the 'kits' button to get started selecting some samples... and it's bloody empty.
What the hell is going on here? I've just installed it twice just to make sure it wasn't a one-off error. I also can't find a way to properly uninstall it because it doesn't show up in the Add/Remove programs menu, nor does it come with its own uninstall application.
Any help would be appreciated, because as it seems, this is being way more hassle than its worth.
