i was just wondering how some of you guys go about recording? i usually get the band to demo out the songs live then record a scratch guitar track played with the click track then record drums, then final guitars, then bass, then vocals.

haha yea i havent come across a drummer that can play a whole song perfectly with just the click track through the head phones and no guitars..and i hate it when drummers complain about playing along with a click god damn hahaha
hey brett i just listened to that malmonde song on your tower studio myspace..the song sounds really good, but i really like the kick drum..im assuming that was a sample? if so whered u get it?!!?

Yeah that's pretty old (end of 2004), not bad for a first proper recording I guess, although guitars are not so great (Line 6 Vetta). Gotta say I got a lot of help and advices from people of the board !
