Profire 2626 not compatible with Windows XP Media Center?

Why the hell wouldn't they make drivers for Media Center? Ive gone through three interfaces now the other two interfaces worked with Media Center but had other issues, had the second exchanged for the Profire and now i have to get a new operating system... i guess im stupid for assuming it would work considering the two other flops and the fact that it works with every other OS except Media Center. Originally my budget was 1000 for an interface. but With 250 dollars worth of Shipping fees and Restocking fees im just pissed off that i have to spend another 150 bucks on an operating system and then dick around transfering all my files.

I'm pretty sure the drivers will work on XPMC because it's still just XP under the hood, just with a load of other consumer shit on top.

I use my 2626 with my laptop and it's running Media Center...Didn't have any problems installing from the CD, and it records nicely. I'm going to dump the 8pre I have and get another 2626 to chain together.

Seems mine doesn't want to work... no Connectivity between the two
