I cant wait!

and how much for drinks? >_>....

One Million Dollars!

Usually between $200-$300
3-4 t-shirts (1 PP shirt and the rest band shirts)
10-15 CDs

It depends on how many bands I need to buy stuff from (t-shirts, CDs). I've also pretty much stopped buying CDs during the year, opting to pick up everything at PP (saves on shipping) so the money spent during the weekend has risen lately. And since Glenn announces next year's lineup during the weekend, there's now a handful of CDs to pick up for next year's bands on Saturday.

Sadly, with Laser's Edge not having a table this year, I'll probably be spending a lot less money this year. Between Nightmare and Laser's Edge, I typically plunk down $250 easily. My friend Steve (SkiBumMSP) puts down waaaaaaay more than that!

I guess were going to stay at the inn @ the peach tree? we'll be right next to claus so im sure pre show beer will be abundantly available. LOL

but yes im sure there will be several pre show bar meet up groups?

isnt there some story about a drunken court yard?

Glenn, are you going to start selling tickets for next year at this years again?

I've got a GB but it might be good info for people trying to budget this year.

I'd be willing to bet that most of the partying will be done in the courtyard at the Artmore.... SO cool the way the hotel changed hands, became the official hotel for Prog Power, and is seemingly ok with the late night revelry.
It's up to us, the fest goers, to NOT mess up a good thing... :)

Yes. I plan on making it a regular situation so that people can avoid the Ticketbastard charges by grabbing them at the box office.

Well I hardly every do much drinking at progpower... maybe a drink per day. I just like to enjoy the music and if I'm fuzzy it's not as enjoyable. As for spending, so far I've been way over every year I come. Last year I sold lots of shit so I could come and enjoy it, about 500 dollars worth of dvds/games, etc., but my goal was to spend about 200 on merch/cds/dvds and 100 for stuff like food, taxi, etc. I failed at that as I spent about 350-400 on merch/cds/dvds. Damn it all to hell! Haha. I'm hoping this year, if I get a job in time and moolah to be able to have a cap of 500, especially with the following year's tickets sold during the weekend.

$200 is probably the absolute minimum, yep.

I try to order some CDs online a few months before PP starts and get those over with, so I can concentrate on PP-exclusive items (like the t-shirt), "surprise" finds and of course, crazy impulse purchases. :)

Some merchants will take credit cards (I think.....umm, who's left that does?), but plan on bringing plenty of cash, because many vendors, including Glenn's PP 12 advance CD sales, will be taking only cash.

I usually never plan on buying all that much and save the $$$ for drinkin'...

I usually end up dropping a little over $100 on merch and about the same on drinks... At least I think so :p
