After I heard Mercy Falls and Remedy Lane, Glenn could have booked Justin Bieber and Dubstep in every other spot and I still would have gone

Oh, I get it. You're just a dick, then.
Yes, POS will headline Weds. show.
I really hope you'll have more tact if their special set doesn't come to your liking, Chris. We're working hard on picking something special for everyone. I'd appreciate the support more than criticism as far as that goes. I can tell you that it'll be truly awesome!
Calm down ladies. I've seen you all voice your opinion on here many times, no need to get bent over it. And don't tell me what my words translate as. Here, I'll fix it for you: I hope they cancel so Glenn can get someone better for the fest whether I like them or not. I don't wish any stress or ill will on Glenn. I've been 10 times, been a sponsor once, and seen many bands I would've never seen otherwise. If anything I'm eternally grateful to Glenn. So if I don't like the headliners that's my right not to, I come to the fest anyways, and will again next year. I remember standing on the floor with plenty of room around me during Strato's set, and usually that is not the case with a headliner. That's how I remember it so I don't think they're headliner material, and the empty space around me must've agreed. Just my opinion...
Great job on the POS score Milton! I appreciate all that you and the Intromental team do!
~From a different Chris
I think I can recall a interview with Glenn, where he was asked about what band he would like to finish the last ProgPower USA. I think the answer was Jon Oliva's Pain, or atleast something Oliva-related. If I remember correctly, you can hear it in Milton's audio interview with Glenn last autumn.
Edit: He said it was Jon Oliva playing a piano version of "When the Crowds are Gone".
I'm always happy to see a special exclusive show, but I have to admit I don't really understand this crowd's obsession with Savatage. I'm sure it'll be great, but I think I would enjoy a straight JOP set more.
I agree. This I'm looking forward to. However I watched that building empty out after PoS took over the headliner for BG at PPIII so I hope it goes well. There is such a thing as a "power snob" too.
You can insult me however you like, but I don't post whiny bitching about bands that Glenn and his staff work so hard to book. You, my friend will ALWAYS have that tag. A whiny, bitching, complaining snob. Take a bow. You've earned it.I suppose. Seems in you I've found the vagina this dick was looking for.
I didn't say they were headlining. They're playing the Wednesday show. I hope it goes well because their is a lot of dislike for PoS on this board. Seeing that building empty out is proof and that was 11 years ago when they were at their peak.

while I don't care for Stratovarious personally, there are about 800 or more people who are paying money to go to this who would be crushed if they cancel
Time to start saving up for the trip!
thank you for bringing up disperse...the music on their clip really interested me...I have to probably hit I tunes and get familiar with them more because from what I hear its as close to right up my alley for what I write as any band tha has played hereI for one am excited to see Statovarius, as I've never seen them before.
I'm also super stoked to see Disperse. Living Mirrors still gets regular play on my iPod. I can't wait to hear that shit live! Their guitarist is a fucking monster!
