A lot of people here seem to like Progressive Death Metal like EoS' Crimson, Dan's Moontower or Opeth (how many times has Opeth already been mentioned in this brand-new forum? )...

Do you know any other bands that merge progressive rock/metal and Death Metal?

I only know these three:

Amorphis (early albums)

Behind the Scenery (they are relatively unknown, but they've got two albums out that are both killer! Can be described as Opeth without clean vocals and with some blast parts; you must check them out!)

and Wolverine (they use growls and clean vocals, but they're more Prog than Death - but way heavier than every Progressive Metal band out there...)

I hope there are more...
