Progressive Melodic Death Metal mix, comments?

Hello everyone,


here it is:



Couple notes that I can make:

1) I think my Rhythms and lead guitars have too much gain? Will this take away some of the mud i have in my mix?

2) drums sound "far away". I want them to be more in your face, should i just bring them up in volume?

3) my synths/strings seem to take over the mix, scooping the mids out should help?
