The ProgPower pre party happens the night before ProgPower, and is a great place for lesser known bands to showcase their talent. And other band members who are playing ProgPower the next day can be spotted here. Last year, I got to hang with the Pagan's Mind guys, and Jon Oliva was also spotted last year at the PreParty (among other luminaries).
But I digress. Prototype definitely deserves this nod, and I am extremely excited for them!
The last time I saw these guys was at a Maidens show a couple of years back, and they are awesome!
