I agree that technically brilliant doesnt make something sound good, but Gavin to me transcends that. He's extremely creative and has a great feel for all styles. It doesn't matter what either of us say, we just disagree.

SW is a production/mixing god. His work is so warm and lush.

PT aren't overrated when you consider what gets played on the radio and has millions of fans.

With regards to SW and metal, Signify was a pretty thrashy song... and I hate the Audioslave style metal that is in several of the PT songs.

I love PT. One of my favourite bands. Overrated? Definitely not. I think SW cops half the bashing m_w does... and that's a lot.
