hey guys try putting this at the end of your amps with eq to taste.
really adds warmth to your plugins like tse x30/lepou lecto etc,,

give it a try and let me know what you guys think

Grabbed it and going to test it on the next mix. Looks like a pultec clone, and one can never have enough of those! The bottom boost on those things is dangerously addicting...

I got that and haven't used it yet. Never overlook the free stuff. I do believe that's also the developer of Tubedriver? I used that a few times first in the signal path (after DI) so the pick attacks aren't all the same kind of overly perfect digital summing.

Speaking of EQ1A...I love the Mellowmuse EQ1A. Was pretty cheap for how good it is. I haven't got that out in a while, but helps a lot when tone matching so you don't get that ghostly digital sound.

*OH! That's the guy from GuitarAmpModeling.com! That's right. That's where I learned to make impulses. TS999 is the plugin I was thinking of. Has a cool pick attack/doesn't overcolor the tone.

SHB-1 is the best bass plugin I've used. Throw on an SSL channel CLA Bass preset & it's perfect.

Still "warming up" to the guitar preamps though...don't really do it for me.

just curious what your PTEq-1a settings are and for which instrument?

That is source dependent. For example, if 'person A' recorded a kick drum and 'person B' recorded the same kick drum too. It would sound different, because of many different variables. Could be the drummer is different and pounds the pedal like a boss or different skins, etc. Many different variables need to be taken into account.

Long story short, there is no correct settings to use. Your ears and brain are the best for deciding which settings work. If you cant get it to sound good, then you need to develop your ear more, can take years to master it :loco:

Here's all the Ignite Amps stuff if you can't get on the site: http://db.tt/pEMgfBd9
Err... you've just violated the EULA :)

I appreciate the effort and I thank you for trying to help, but you should at least put the latest version of The Anvil (2.0.0, which has been released 4 days ago) in the archive.

The site should work correctly anyway, but in case you guys are facing problems in downloading the plug-ins, you can send an email at info<at>igniteamps.com and I'll be more than glad to help you out.
Please, do not upload the plug-ins on other sites if it's not strictly needed.
