first of all, happy 4th! I just saw a great fireworks display and it got me feeling a little patriotic.
Anywho...Kiss- Is "Hard Luck Woman" an original? If not, who wrote it or first performed it?

it is an original. written by paul stanley . it was originaly written for rod stewart who was working on an album at the time. supposedly peter criss heard the song and said "screw rod stewart,let me sing it". the rest is kisstory.
however the song "forever" on hot in the shade was written by michael bolton (the singer with the bad 80's hair , not the guy in office space)

There's a cover version of Hard Luck Woman done up by Garth Brooks that's suprisingly pretty good. (I'm not much of a country guy)
