question about dreaming neon black

it seems pretty obvious to me that this is a concept album, it sounds like it's about a dude who lost a woman he loved, etc. Is this just something warrell wrote, or is it based on actual events in his life? Is there an article where he talks about it?

it is an actual event in warrel's life, when a woman he loved went on a religious mission, and nobody has heard from her since. during the time DNB was being written, he had dreams of her drowning somewhere. his feelings on the matter are explained throughout the album, in the lyrics

Thanks. that's different than what I expected, I figured she died heh. just the same I guess.

I've read all the lyrics but im terrible at deciphering the meaning behind them unless it's blatantly obvious. things like "I am the dog" make no damn sense to me (yeah, while I'm at it, the hell is that about exactly?)
