Question for Warrel about in ear monitors

Hmm, that's strange. I normally get the guys being somewhat truthful. I tried out a Vamp2 a few months ago, told the clerk that it sucked balls and he was like 'hahaha, I wholeheartedly agree'. Didn't try to slip in another product on me either. Guess it depends on person to person.
I know one guy at the Guitar Center near me and he is the only one I will deal with. A few of the other guys in the place are more low key. But there are always the Super salesmen that seem to follow me.
shame you didn't like the V-Amp. So far messing with the one my friend bought, it has some great sounds in it. Of course he is just using it for recording, so I am not sure how it would perform live. But for what he is going to use it for, I find it's great.
Whenever he gets a new toy he always lets me mess with it. We got an amazing clean sound out of it. Some pretty great distortion too.

guitar center is the coolest place to hang out.
some people go get guitar teachers. i just goto guitar center. the employees there just love teaching me info about amps, guitars, mics, mixers, etc.
hell the other day me and my drummer were there til closing. he talked with the drum guy there and he taught him how to do this single stick roll trick.

the only store where i've encounter annoying salesman is sam ash.

not so sure about guitar center being a cool place to hang out... once i was looking at les pauls and this employee came up to me and asked if i liked this certain one... i said no and that i thought the inlay's were gay (trapezoid inlays)... and he looked at me and was like, "what's an inlay". If you don't know what you're selling, don't work there.

dude, you are so right about that mike and the EV ND757 I like as well

I've always liked EV gear, but it really hurts the wallet.
BTW I used my new in ear system last night, and it was a trip.
It made me more aware of how I use my mike, and of my head voice.
I felt less effort within my higher range. I could also bring back the power a little when singing clean. I really didn't have to push over the band.
In my lower register it was funny to hear, and feel it resonate through my head and chest. The issolation makes it more apparent, and if I slip into a growl it sound like I have 40 pound balls.
Very cool piece of gear, and will probably help save my voice and hearing in the long run...I just don't know if I can give up my wedges...what will I put my foot on :headbang:

Awesome, glad those worked out.

And I know what you mean about the floor monitors. As soon as I start singing, one foot goes up on them. in classisc Dickinson stance. :D

I think as a singer it is programed.
The foot goes up on the monitor, and one hand goes up holding the invisible crystal ball. My buddy calls it "holding the mystical orb".
As I've seen, Warrel is the grand wizard of orb holders...God, I love metal!!!
