Question in regards to macs.

Pretty much any Intel based Mac is going to slay the G5. In fact, there is no such thing as a G5 chip - it's an overclocked G4 given a new name (hence the insane cooling system and revolutionary case design - it was NECESARRY.)

I have a dual 2.5 ghz G5, and my MacBook (not pro) absolutely destroys it.

saying the G5 is just an over-clocked G4 is completely false. Remember, the G5 was 64-bit while the G4 is 32-bit....that is a big, big difference, and you can't just accomplish that by overclocking.

but yeah, the iMac will be faster. I have one, and it rips.
