Quick question for you all about the forum

the forums have been randomly timing out when making posts today. It only seems to last a moment, but I've had a fair share of posts eaten.

I spoke too soon. The server's been absolutely horrible all morning. It's timed out on me about 10 times so far today.

Once in a while, after making a post, the screen doesn't refresh and go back to the thread. It stays put with the reply intact in the quick reply box and I'm not sure if the forum accepted the post or not, so I press the "Post Quick Reply" button again. Then the screen says that I had double posted. Then I feel stupid and contemplate suicide.

I think you should maybe force registration? Keep the guests from clogging the server. Poor WD though.
