Qustion for Billy

The other day i was flicking through the booklet for Opeth's "Blackwater Park" and noticed that "Billy and SOD" were thanked. I never really expected to see SOD mentioned in the same sentence as opeth let alone mentioned in the booklet. Whats the behind that?

He hooked them up with a gig at the Milwaukee Metal Fest and if I am not mistaken it was their first U.S. show also.
