I guess no one was aware or remembered the anniversary of Cliff's death.. it was posted in the GMD board so I figure I would post here... 20 years today... R.I.P. Cliff .... Forgive them (Metallica after your death) for they know not what they do....

20 years...

Rest in peace old warrior, thanks for all the great Metallica music, for all the fun and I hope you're not spinning in your grave with what the rest are doing

I was well aware.

R.I.P. Cliff, 2/10/62 - 9/27/86. Hearing about your death is a moment that is just frozen in time as far as I'm concerned. I remember it like it was yesterday, and it will stay with me forever. You were the best.

wow.. i thought there would be more Cliff fans or posters then in GMD... btw stay clear of that forum.. they just lost another Mod lol .... one of the worst mistakes in my life was not going to see Metallica in 86 when they were opening up for Ozzy at Nassau Coliseum before Cliff died.. but then again who could of predicted that was going to happen to Cliff...

I was 'lucky' enough to see Metallica with Cliff numerous times. In fact on each tour for the first three albums at least once! First time was with Raven and Anthrax(Neil Turbin era) in NYC on "Kill 'Em All For One" tour.
A very different band back then - in music, delivery...the whole package. What a shame...
