First Ron Ashton, now this. The first thing I read when I click online this morning is that John McCarthy, singer for Boston thrash legends Post Mortem passed away last night at age 40. I don't know if anyone who checks this board out knows the band, but their first record "Coroner's Office" was a pretty big deal in the Boston scene. The band had finnished laying down tracks for their long awaited new record, and John was going to record the vocals next month. This sucks so fucking bad. John was such a great personality, a real original who was loved by friends and fans alike, and Post Mortem was an original/unique band. 40 is way to fucking young to go.
