Just recently recorded song for my buddy and band mate project. I love ideas he is putting (kinda reminds Babylon Zoo).
Guitar was cheap-end Les Paul - BOSS pedal (overdrive/ distortion) - Marshall mg100 combo send - Pod Studio ux2 - don't remember which impulse from podfarm.
Clean guitar (kinda clean but added crunch) and fills was DI signal - UX2 - experimented with vst D.I.G. 2 (from acmebar, no more available to download)
Love sound I got for clean/ crunch tone (just one guitar)- sent output to paralel bus with delay (full wet) with stereo offset somewhere 10 - 15 ms and little flanger that add more stereo effect + compressor. In result I got start from root sound in middle and when it fades out it spreads in stereo.
