just finished up a mix of a RATM style band. Was awesome doing this project. Let me know what you think!

the snare is a no-go in my opinion, sounds really tiny.

nice job on the vox though.

for me the drums are the weak point here, and are way to synthetic for a RATM style production. you shouldn´t use samples at all in this kinda mix.

Yeah the guitars definitely sound very digital especially when playing softer.

But yeah, this style is pretty different for me, as I normally mix heavier stuff but yeah, you can tell I'm a slate fan boy.

all guitars too dark to me. just add some highs around 5-9 khz.
