Rage "Unity"

Rage used to be one of my favorite power metal bands when they released the awesome "Black In Mind", and now they have won their place back with "Unity" I was very disappointed with Welcome to the Other Side and I did not have very high expectations for this one, but once I heard it I was blown away. Peavey's voice is one of my all-time favorites and Smolski is just unbelievable on the guitars. Terrana, as always, did a great job on drums. This album is one of the best of 2002, hands down.

Hmph. I was just talking to JayKeeley the other day how I thought this was one of the most overhyped, disappointing albums I'd heard this year. To each his own, of course.

They should have called the cd "Almost Mind Odyssey with special Guest "Peavy". IMO, it's the best Rage cd they've done........

I loved this album! It's their best since "Reflections of a Shadow" IMO....

I bought "Welcome to the Other Side" AFTER "Unity" and enjoy that one just as much.

..."Reflections of a Showdow" is a classic though... it would be hard for them to ever top that album for me.........

Yep...I liked Rage before Smolski, and I like 'em even better with his involvement now....
