Random stuff that interest you...

I hope this doesn't turn into another Batshit Theory of the Week thread...

Recently I've been thinking about how government and society influence people's views towards morality, and what's normal versus what's not. Lots of people seem think that because something's illegal, it's inherently wrong, morally, which is baffling to me.

Maybe I've been listening to too much Godflesh.

I am of the belief that women in previous generations, because they wore pants up past their belly buttons, maintain a more pleasing hourglass figure versus women of my own generation with their low rider jeans and whatnot. It pinches in at a bad place, and as corsets show, will over time mold one's body. For this reason, I usually try to keep my pants either baggy or pulled up high in the usual every day and save the sexy stuff for special occasions.

Yea it also works the other way around (perspective and morality influences govern and society and what's legal is what's inherently right).

I believe that belief has nothing to do with truth, and morality is just another game we play; however, I don't know this

Astronomy/Astrophysics (Space in general. I eat that shit up even though I don't understand 95% of it)

Ancient Egyptian history. The art/architecture mostly.
True crime shows. Not the fictional kind. Stuff like Forensic Files and The First 48. Oh, and COPS. ;)

  • Generic/asian spiritualism IE non god/satan focused spirituality. Both are so limiting and reality is none so black and white.

  • Speculative pre-history. Perhaps we were more advanced in knowledge, culture and technology, but differently than how we think of them today

Okay so since this says random, I'm just going to say the random things that interests me and not some of the more obvious ones that I've expressed before.

Bah this is going to sound pretty bad, but whatever. I'm actually really interested in holistic options to like healthcare and beauty shit (especially skincare stuff). Growing up i had some really bad acne and was able to cure it naturally; so now i like to do everything that way too. I'm currently in the process of replacing most (if not all) makeup with finding natural brands and if not just doing away with it altogether. The less chemicals/artificial shit the better.

Edit: I have two obsessions right now one is Kombucha, which i swore has cured my flu twice already this winter. and the other is hydrosols. i don't use like perfumes or anything with a scent (unless its honey or something natural) so its a good way and it really makes me feel calm when I'm stressed. they also have great healing properties too… but i actually walk with a small spray bottle of rose water in my bag and randomly spray my face with it throughout the day, just because it feels really good. and the scent is calming.

Oh and i like space and philosophy.

What do or did you use for acne?

mostly oil cleansing method with jojoba oil. take a dime size of that at nighttime rub in on your face and wash it off. it won't completely come off all the, way which is good while you're asleep. jojoba oil is actually really close to your natural sebum, so it regulates the oil your skin is producing (or not producing). also "spot treat" with tea-tree oil. it has anti-secptic properties that helps to treat zits but not over do it like something with a strong alcohol might.

edit: ill have to watch those space videos. theres a cool documentary on YT called the Big Bang Machine. haven't gotten through the whole thing yet but its about the Hadron Collider which smashes atoms. Its the largest particle accelerator every made… kind of complicated to explain really. but here it is

You must smell good. I imagine a soft lavender with a little bit of natural stank :tickled:

I think I'll look into it. I mean I wash my face with bar soap so anything would probably be an improvement

I dig reading about sound production. I also get into huge debates with people who think Andy Sneap is an okay producer. :v
