many bands have little activity because of little interest, like dragonlord for example, they havent had an album in years since theyve been concentrating on testament and interest for a decent band quickly wanes


many forums are still incredibly active however, like bloodbath, opeth used to be, children of bodom, and to a certain degree this one. although interest always peaks with a new album, brings on many new faces, some good, some bad, many who post for a couple months and disappear.

but some of us enjoy the communities and so we stick around for conversations sake

EDIT: many people are from europe as well, so....time zones...yeah
